Name: Sandon Historical Society
Description: Focus of an out-and-out rail war between the Canadian Pacific and the Great Northern, Sandon was the terminus of two thriving rail lines for several years. The last rail service to Sandon was in 1955; today the site boasts a static CPR train exhibit, with many wonderful photos, maps and artifacts in the Sandon Museum.
